STORY OF MY LIFE

                It was April 07, 1996 when I came into this world together with my twin sister. It was my parents who let me experience such life. As life goes by, I can say that I’m not like other individuals taking such extravagant life. I live in a simple town, Caraga, Davao Oriental with a simple life together with my family. My parents, although we are not rich just like any other family, my parents are able to provide the basic things I need. For my 20 years of existence, I can say that my parents are always there to support me.

            My mother is just a simple housekeeper. We have a small store, in which she was in charge of it. She’s not a typically working wife, working in big companies, teaching in schools, she’s just a simple housewife. She did not get any degree because she did not finish her study. In fact, she only reached 2^nd year college. But even in the midst of her flaws, she’s a strong woman filled with love. She’s a devoted follower of Jesus. With her own simple ways, she raised us properly, she’s not a teacher but she taught us how to practice good manners, she’s not a business woman, but she was able to provide our needs, she’s not a perfect woman, but she’s a perfect mother.

            It was July 31, 2014, the day that strike me the most. It was the day when my father left us. It’s not easy to live a life without a father. My mother was broken that time, so I have to make myself still, I have to be strong. Way back then, my father was a strong man, whatever we need he gave it to us. He was a good example of how to be an ideal person. I idolized him, for he was a hardworking man. He was just a motorcycle driver, but he was able to send us to beautiful school to study. He provided us the things we need.

            He was a great father I can say. He’s my protector, my adviser as well as a friend. It was so sad of not having a father today, but my father taught me how to be strong and to face challenges of life. He is so good, so great, and I miss him very much.

            I admit, I may not have a good life, I experienced lost, I experienced pain, but I am thankful, I have my family beside me. With them I am able to face all those trials. I am able to surpass them. I have nothing to wish for because I have them and I love them.

DUTERTE-MAN OF FIST

            In today’s news, one man is always in a sight. He is known to be the “Berdugong Davao” because of his strong and strict personality. He is said to be the Hitler of the Philippines because of the killings happening today. But deep inside he is a good man, whose only dream is to give pride and safety to his people. He once said, “I do not care if I burn in Hell, for as long as the people I serve live in paradise.” He is the Father of Davao, a devoted son to his parents and a loving guardian to his sons and daughter. He is the pride of Davao, he is DUTERTE.

            Rodrigo “Rody” RoaDuterte was born in March 28, 1945 in Maasin. He is the son of a Cebuano lawyer Vicente G. Duterte and a school teacher Soledad Roa. He is a Filipino lawyer and in todays present, he is the 16^th President of the Philippines. Before he became the President of the Philippines he started from scratches. Duterte started his study as an elementary pupil in Laboon Elementary School in Maasin and spent the remaining years in Santa Ana Elementary School in Davao City. He was being expelled twice in his High School life in two schools including Ateneo de Davao University High School department due to some misconduct and finally graduated in Holy Cross College of Digos known today as CorJesu College. He got his Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in Political Science in Lyceum of the Philippines in Manila and got his Law Degree in San Beda College of Law.

            After the events of his life, as a fast forward, he was appointed as the officer – in – charge Vice Mayor after the 1986 People Power Revolution. After that he ran as Mayor and won and has served the Davao City for 20 long years. For that period of time, Davao City bloomed in glory and safety in Davao was preserved since then. He also established sectors in government including health and safety purposes for his people; one example was the establishment of the well-known Davao City 911 that have helped the Davao people for a long time. Under his government, Davao has always belonged to one of the World’s safest City. People in Davao really lived in Paradise under his Governance hence the quote, “Davao, Life is Here”.

            Election 2016 is known to be one of the most remarkable election in Philippine History since the well – known man of Davao ran as the candidate for President in 2016 Elections. After the long process of voting and waiting, Duterte won the Election and became the President Elect since June 30, 2016. Since then, he became busy for his advocacy of bringing Change to the Filipino People. For the first 2 months of his service, many were done and many were established. 911 was found to be effective not only in the premises of Davao City but also Nationwide. Many drug addicts and pushers were arrested and were given Rehabilitation assistance, and many other plans were achieved that will sum up for the benefit of all Filipinos.

            Indeed, Duterte is what the Philippines have always been waiting for. Even in the midst of controversies, issues, and other black propagandas against him, he still stands and acts as if nothing happens. He is truly the Father that always sees his children living in a humane and equal society with safety and in good condition. He is indeed the change that all Filipinos longs for. Change has Come, and will prevail for our Leader is a Tough one. Tough in the since that he wants his people experience the things that they deserved. The things that should be given to them and the things that should be provided by a leader like him. With his quote, “We will strive to have a permanent and lasting peace before my term ends. That is my goal, that is my dream”, peace and wellness shall prevail.

Description:


               On August 04, 2016  at about 3:30 PM a gang war incident transpired along the DPT building, Room H3B, 3rd floor, where in the victim was identified as one Berting Isuga a UM student, college level, single, 20 yrs old., and a residence of gravahan new matina davao city. The suspect was identified as one Franing Khaayo a UM students,classmate of the victim ,college level, single, 21 yrs old.,and a residence of Bunawan, Davao city. The reason why the incident happened because of their misunderstanding according to the invistigator on case. The victim was sustained a multiple punch in his face and the victim was rushed on the school clinic for medical treatment.
